At Timber & Twine Farm, we believe that the best way to learn is by doing! Inspired by nature, our summer camps are designed to give plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning, getting creative and playing outdoors. Campers will make new friends, create fun projects and be given the chance to interact with all of the animals on our farm.
These drop-off camps are designed for ages 5-12. Sign-up for one camp or all six! Use the code summer when purchasing more than one camp to receive $10 off each camp! This applies to siblings or multiple camps so the more you buy, the more you save! Each camper will receive one camp shirt.
All camps are ONE day from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Campers will bring ONE SNACK and their LUNCH. We will supply afternoon snacks.
We also are hiring Junior Camp Guides this year ages 13-18 years old! This is a volunteer position for young leaders in our community who enjoy working with kids, being outdoors and helping with animals. You can register for these positions starting May 1st by clicking here.

Animal lovers will be thrilled to spend the day with baby goats, ducklings and bunnies. Campers will snuggle fuzzy babies as we learn about the care and keeping of each creature and what they need to thrive. They will discover how milk can be used in soap, what makes a duck float and why bunnies dig holes! With plenty of hands-on activities, each camper will create a custom bar of goat milk soap, build a boat to test on the pond and build tunnels for our bunnies! It's a day designed to delight, promising the most memorable start to summer!
Calling all thrill-seekers! This action-packed adventure camp is for kids who love to climb higher, aim farther, and push their limits in the great outdoors. Campers will learn what it takes to survive in the wild as they build shelters, hone their aim with archery and enjoy a camp-fire cooked snack. Teamwork will be essential as they compete in an archery contest, a scavenger hunt and special team challenges. And what’s all that adventure without a little engineering? Campers will build and launch their very own mini catapults, to see who can send objects flying the farthest. Whether they’re aiming for the bullseye or conquering new heights, this camp is all about bold challenges, outdoor exploration, and unleashing their wild and free spirit!
A hands-on retreat for kids who love to cultivate, craft, and create! Campers will paint and personalize their own terra cotta flowerpots and pot their own flowers. They will learn what a pollinator is and how they help the garden grow. Taking a hike through the woods and around the farm they'll identify different types of bees and butterflies. Children will be introduced to beekeeping gear, parts of the hive and learn about the different jobs that bees have in a hive. Spending the afternoon beside the lemonade station, they'll find refreshment in the sunshine as they paint, plant, and craft in the open air.
Grab your magnifying glass and put on your detective hat—there’s a mystery to solve on the farm! Campers will crack riddles, follow hidden clues, and uncover secrets scattered across the farm, unlocking mystery stations and gathering evidence along the way. Using their mini detective kit—complete with a secret message notebook, spy decoder wheel, and magnifying glass—they’ll solve clues with invisible ink, hidden messages, and code-breaking skills to inch closer to cracking the ultimate whodunit. With thrilling hands-on discoveries and plenty of surprises, this camp will keep young detectives on their toes until the very last clue is solved!
Get ready to celebrate the 4th of July with a camp bursting with classic summer fun! The team-building excitement starts with tug-of-war, parachute games, and water balloon splash relays! This creative and colorful camp will have kids celebrating their freedom to romp barefoot in the sunshine with festive red, white, and blue treats, patriotic tie-dye shirts and a smoke bomb send-off making for an unforgettable summer memory! It’s a day packed with teamwork, adventure, and all the best traditions of summer!
To maximize the hands-on experience for each child, class sizes will be limited.
All camps must have a minimum of 8 campers. If a camp is short campers, you will receive a full refund.
